Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Cape Town - a coastal city in South Africa.

Welcome to Cape Town, one of the most popular cities in South Africa. Its diversity, modernism co-exists with nature’s bountiful blessings and makes it an ideal place to start your visit. On arrival, proceed (on your own) to your conveniently located hotel (Check-in on your own after 15:00). Rest of the day is at leisure.

Overnight in Cape Town. (Dinner)

Today enjoy a full day tour of Cape Town. Visit the Table Mountain (Table Mountain excursion is weather permitting), one of the world’s 07 Wonders of Nature. Take the cable car to the top, for a panoramic view of the city and coastline. Continue through the historic Malay Quarter, past the South African Museum, with its famed Bushmen exhibits, the Castle and other interesting sights. Towards the end of the morning, visit the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. This is South Africa's most talked about tourist venue with many shops and restaurants. Evening free to explore this beautiful city on your own.

Depart on a Full day Tour of Cape Point; we flank the cold Atlantic Ocean enroute to Hout Bay. Hout Bay was once a fishing community now one of the most popular residential areas, the harbour still has a charm of days gone by. Enjoy a half-hour cruise to "Seal Island" or for the adventurous the fish market "Mariners Wharf". We now continue alongside the Indian Ocean, and stop to see the Jackass penguin colony at Boulders beach near Simons town.

Afternoon travel onwards until we reach Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, said to be the romantic meeting place of the two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian, Sir Francis Drake the Explorer once called it "the fairest Cape that we saw in the whole circumference of the Globe”. And rightly so, it must be the highlight of any visit to the Mother City, if not South Africa. Our last stop of the day is at The Flying Dutchman, known as the Funicular Ride.

Morning first we visit the wineries & vineyards to enjoy wine tasting with a tour of the winery. Then proceed to Hermanus… a seaside town southeast of Cape Town, in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. Hermanus is considered to be the world's premier site for watching whales Beaches include Voëlklip Beach and the broad Grotto Beach, overlooking Walker Bay. Rest of the day is free to explorer this beautiful resort town.

This morning drive to Mossel Bay a harbour town on the Garden Route in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. It’s known for the wide Santos Beach and the 19th-century Cape St. Blaize Lighthouse, which offers bay views. Do an orientation tour of the city. Later proceed to Knysna Heads must be the most striking geological feature along the entire southern African coastline. They flank a deep but potentially treacherous channel through which the sea pours in to flood the wide and breathtakingly pretty lagoon at the mouth of the River Knysna. Today enjoy the stupendously fantastic Knysna Lagoon Cruise. (Time & Weather permitting).

Enjoy a full day tour of Oudtshoorn - a town in the Western Cape province in South Africa. The town is home to the world's largest Ostrich population with a number of specialized ostrich breeding farms such as the Safari Show Farm. Visit the Cango Caves –The Klein Karoo’s oldest and most popular attraction and one of the world’s natural wonders. Gather the ultimate “ostrich experience” with thousands of ostriches to view from incubation stage to full-grown adults that visitors can ride at the Ostrich Farm. Visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch, which is internationally recognized as one of South Africa’s premier attractions in the Western Cape, providing visitors with a world-class experience like no other.

Day 7

Morning proceed to airport for your flight (on your own) to Johannesburg. On arrival proceed (on your own) to the Man-made Sun City – The Kingdom of Pleasure. Sun City resort in South Africa is a premium destination, with two championship golf courses, numerous swimming pools, and a huge manmade lake. Experience the Wave Pool (sometimes Wave Pool close for visitors due to maintenance). The vast number of options will surely get you spoilt. In the evening, take a chance to try your luck at the Casino and Entertainment Centre or just explore the resort on your own.

Overnight in Sun City. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Morning experience the game drive at Pilanesberg National Park… the home to the Big 5, along with an abundance of flora and fauna. This Game Reserve in South Africa is every wildlife enthusiasts dream. Post Game drive we return back to Sun City. Evening free to explore the resort on your own.

Overnight in Sun City. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Morning onto Johannesburg. On arrival an orientation tour of Johannesburg city. Take a photo opportunity at the Nelson Mandela Bridge and proceed towards Newtown sites and Carlton Centre. Continue the drive through the high society neighborhood of Houghton to Constitution Hill. Then proceed for Gold Reef City an amusement park in Johannesburg, South Africa. Located on an old gold mine which closed in 1971, the park is themed around the gold rush that started in 1886 on the Witwatersrand, the buildings on the park are designed to mimic the same period. There is a museum dedicated to gold mining on the grounds where it is possible to see a gold-containing ore vein and see how gold is poured into barrels.

(If Gold reef city closed then visit Lion & Safari Park visit the Lion & Safari Park, to get closer than you could ever imagine to Africa’s most incredible wildlife. The Lion and Safari Park is a 600-hectare wilderness reserve, and the park offers guests an incredible opportunity to get up close to many of South Africa's most iconic animals).

A wonderful Holiday gracefully ends. Check out by 11:00. Transfer to airport for your flight back to India. (Breakfast).
